Hope & Xia Gibbs
Gift of Hope
Despite Hope's challenges, she was always a part of our activities and community. She was the best cheerleader and supporter on the baseball fields, on a pool deck or in the stands. She had many fans herself and was the “team hugger” and honorary team member on quite a few baseball and swim teams.
If she had time off from her team duties or responsibilities at school, you could find her playing outside, encouraging everyone to seize the moment, love those around them, and maybe having an impromptu dance party. She was always ready for a marshmallow or piece of chocolate and loved to dress up.
In August of 2019, Hope unexpectedly passed away leaving a hole in our hearts. We began Hope Included, in her memory, in order to share the lessons she taught us and share the gift of HOPE.
Xia-Gibbs

Xia-Gibbs Society is a not-for-profit corporation formed in the USA for charitable purposes. Its mission is to support and advocate for those with Xia-Gibbs syndrome(XGS) and their families, to raise awareness and to assist with scientific and medical research.

Nicolle McCoy
Nicolle is Hope's mom and a fierce advocate for inclusion. She has a deep desire to share the gifts she learned from Hope with the community and has a vision to make community richer through access and inclusion. You can find her chasing her other three children around pools or baseball fields, working, chasing her dreams or spending time with her kids and husband, Scott.
Alice Steele
Alice has a heart of gold and a great mind. She keeps the numbers and handles the tech at Hope Included. She is a friend that is more like family and her support is priceless. You will find her working, volunteering and mothering her four beautiful kiddos and spending time with her husband and family. Alice is an integral part of the team and we are so fortunate to have her.
Tiffany Phillips
Tiffany is a go getter. If you know her you love her and you know she loves kids. She is an advocate for so many and works tirelessly to lend a hand to anyone in need. Tiffany has great ideas and dreams of creating supportive communities for all of its members. She stays busy mothering her three beautiful children, spending time with her husband, and serving others.
Christie Dillard
Christie is our Chair of Fundraising and the one who lit a fire to get our first project up and moving. She is a person who will commit to a cause and do whatever is needed. She is a trusted, loyal and energetic women who strives to make her community better. When she isn't working, supporting a cause, or entertaining friends, you can find her chasing her sweet boy around Chattanooga.
